Biz Tip of the Day: Everyone who meets a need is a “Service Provider.” When I get my car repaired by a mechanic, he provides a service: I need a mechanic and his business provides it. “Service provider” means nothing. If you sell gas, tell me you sell gas. If you design commercial office spaces, tell me you design commercial office spaces.
If you’re a Social Network company, fine — just use plain language to let me know what you really do.
