Biz Tip of the Day: Create power referral partnerships and strategic alliances. This is where joining the right groups comes in where you find your targeted clients. Individual clients who send friends and acquaintances your way is a must. Equally important is not to overlook partnering with other non-competitive business people who will agree to give you referrals, the same as you will give them referrals for their business.
Remember when, for any reason, you may not be able to help a client with a special need outside your field, you can refer them to someone who can help them. This shows, too, that you really care about meeting their needs whenever you can. That's the right attitude to keep toward clients, and potential clients.
Keep track of your business people's referrals, and reward them, as you would clients for their referrals.
