Biz Tip of the Day: Create credibility. Create a list of credibility factors. What are some credibility factors? You may have written a book on a subject, have specific knowledge or background on something that comes easily for you. You may have created some sort of successful system, become a sought after speaker on the subject, taken yourself, or someone else out a a certain type of situation quickly and successfully. You may have worked for more than 15 or 20 years in a field giving you far more experience than most competitors.

Think about it. Don't sell yourself short. The average salesperson doesn't do much to sell themselves, or their products, so all you have to do is to make a little more effort to out shine the rest. Imagine if you went beyond that to show your clients what makes you make them better. Talk about blowing the doors off your competition.

I have known a few top salespeople in their regions. They did it with finesse. They weren't pushy. They simply demonstrated how they, or their product could make the customers lives easier, more comfortable, more time-saving, or save them money. It's a beautiful thing to watch them in action. They don't even know they're being sold to. That's what our product does for you and your customers.
