Focus on results not excuses. Set clear goals, have mutual discussion among the team members. Talk about why you want to achieve certain plateaus – then discuss the how. Hire people who are ambitious and want to succeed. The negative mind full of excuses has no place, certainly in sales. You will need to motivate and reward your people as they reach each new goal.
