when you are invited to speak before different groups. You cannot
imagine how much pressure this will relieve you of when you are
called upon to speak before each new group. It is also very effective
in normal conversation with customers and prospective customers.
Become well versed in these topics. People like information, facts,
and trivia. Throw in some humor and fun, now and then. Top sales
people know that always being too business like can kill sales. Get
to enjoy talking to people and let it show. Make the conversation
more about them and their needs, and no more than necessary about
yourself to get the job done.
