Biz tip of the day: Offer flat fee packages with no hidden charges. But, after the initial sale, do up-sell to newer additions, or higher end programs, or packages along the way. There are two ways to up-sell to alternative, newer, better, more expensive program/packages you offer.
First, when the client is finished with the program purchased, you may up-sell to another higher priced program/package that fits their needs.
Secondly, it is possible that the client realized, after a period of time, that your least expensive program/package purchased does not fit their needs as well as a more expensive one offered. In this case, you would be wise to accommodate the client by deducting the cost of the lower priced one, and up-selling to the more expensive desired one.
It would be a good selling point, making the client fell more secure in doing business with you, to offer such as up-grade option up front on the first purchase.
