Biz tip of the day: Always introduce yourself looking the person in the eye, and by stating your name slowly and clearly. Show the person that you are engaged. Fit in your Elevator Speech, but do ask question about them for two reasons. It shows that you are interested in them, and you learn useful information about your propsect. Make notes of their interests, and needs for when you follow up. Arrange a future meeting people you meet whenever appropriate. Leave them with your card.
