Biz TIp of The Day: Small Business Owners Might Consider Using a Personal Banking Account

Biz Tip of The Day: Small business owners might consider using a personal banking account rather than a business account with your bank, or credit union. The reason for this is that banks are responsible for banking fraud, or theft of account funds, wire transfers, or illegal cashing of checks from personal accounts, but not for business accounts. Go figure. An answer would be to run your business expenses through a personal dedicated checking account. There is more than one way to skin a cat. Check with your bank to see how to handle such an account.

Also, take the time to check out local credit unions. Oftentimes their benefits are cheaper, and greater than those of banks.
