Biz Tip of The Day: Professionalism, and courtesy always pay off. For the same reasons a food server in a restaurant should not sit down at a customer's table, uninvited, you should not cross the line in acting too familiar with a customer, or a prospective customer. That doesn't mean you can't have an occasional drink or two with a client. We all know that many a good deal was made over a drink, and it's alright when acceptable by all parties involved. It is advisable to limit yourselves to no more than a couple, though, since things could get out of hand. Plus, it should be reserved as an occasional practice, and certainly not as a rule.
