Biz Tip of The Day: Starting a Business is Like Building a Ship

Starting a business is like building a ship and embarking on a voyage, armed with a plan, a map and a team. You have to sail with uncertainty against storms and unpredictable weather. If your ship sinks, it's either you quit or you swim back to shore, build a new ship and sail again.”

This is a quote by Ajaero Tony Martins, who is an internet marketing expert with years of experience. He also has expertise and specialized knowledge on marketing and brand building and internet marketing.

Biz Tip of The Day: It is Easier to Turn Prospects into Sales Leads than Customers

Biz tip of the day:

It is a lot easier to turn prospects into sales leads than into customers. Prospective clients have heard it all and don't easily fall for a lot of sales hype. Let me talk about five things to make it easier to turn your sales leads into customers:

1. It is a natural process whether it takes a day, weeks or months. You need to go through this process in order to close the sale. Be diligent in nurturing your leads.

2. Know your prospective clients. Keep in mind your objective to serve clients in their best interests. You have to know what their best interests are. Remember clients are always thinking WIIFM (What's in it for me).

3. Ask questions to allow you to get to know the clients desires. Then help guide them toward the right decision, but do not make the decision for them. Be personal, but not too personal or prying. Ask about family members they have mentioned to you by name. Make a deal agreeable to both you and the client.

4. Be patient. Eliminate your own fear of failure. Learn the psychology of closing the deal in “Buzz Your Business & Be The Best.” In the book you will find an entire chapter on “Closing the Sale.” It is available on www.Amazon.com. The right time to ask to close the deal is when you determine the client is ready to sign.

5. Concentrate on the positive. That is another chapter in “Buzz Your Business.” Focus on the aspects which make you and the client happy. You will hit snags and setbacks, but remain positive and persevering without being overbearing.

Closing the deal is one of the biggest challenges in business, but with awareness and practice it gets easier and easier for you. Learn to use the tools and plenty of patience for success.

Biz Tip of The Day: Florida Lt. Gov. Jennifer Carroll Invited me the National Convention for a book signing

Florida Lt. Governor Jennifer Carroll personally invited me to have a four day book signing and I hope to speak at the National Republican Convention in Tampa (August 27~30, 2012). Lt. Governor Carroll is putting together a Women’s section at the convention since most jobs lost in the last few years were women’s jobs.
