Biz Tip of The Day: Leadership is Relatively Easy, But ...

Leadership is relatively easy, but productive leadership is an art form. One key element in successful leadership is knowing what the problem is you are setting out to solve. It is easy to become bogged down in minutia and have too many people working apart on details. Oftentimes you can lose site of the problem. Make sure your team in in tune with the problem on a daily basis and the goal of its solution. Ask for timely reports of its progress.

Biz Tip of The Day: Ideas Kept Secret Never Help You or Anyone Else

Ideas kept secret never help you or anyone else. My work as marketing director for Author Success International (ASI) is to get those who are passionate about something to put it in the form of the written word to share with others. It could be life altering information, advice from experiences, or in the case of entrepreneurs it could be about a particular expertise, product, service or program to improve the lives of others.

ASI has made it easier and very cost-effective for people to get ideas out of their heads onto paper and published so their ideas can render a positive influence improving the lives of many others. In the process the author also opens up the opportunity to make money selling books, using the book as a marketing tool, plus getting speaking engagements, radio and TV interviews as an expert in his subject of expertise.
Authors are never sorry they wrote a book, but are often sorry they did not write it sooner.
I invite you to start and finish your non-fiction book in just six short weeks. Please go to:

www.BusinessOwnersWritingSystem.com™  to see how easy it is with the Leader Program starting August 15, 2012. The results are great – I know, I used the Leader Program to write an award-winning book, “Buzz Your Business & Be The Best!” One of the greatest perks is guaranteed publishing or your money back.
You may ask questions through the website and sign up for the program at the end of the value-added perks list, right away. We only have a couple of slots left. Ideas kept secret never help you or anyone else. Get started writing you book August 15th. Don't miss out on this opportunity.

Insight From Michael Dell

Insight from Michael Dell

One of the things I benefited from when I started this business was that I didn't know anything. I was just instinct with no preconceived notions. This enabled me to learn and change quickly without having to worry about maintaining any kind of status quo, like some of my bigger competitors: Michael Dell

Biz Tip of The Day: I Am a Woman Who Came From the Cotton Fields of the South

Biz tip of the day:

I am a woman who came from the cotton fields of the South. From there I was promoted to the washtub. From there I was promoted to the cook kitchen. And from there I promoted myself into the business of manufacturing hair goods and preparations….I have built my own factory on my own ground:

Madame C. J. Walker, Born Sarah Breedlove, an American businesswoman, entrepreneur and philanthropist, commonly regarded as the first African American millionaire.

Don't let anyone tell you America isn't a great country for success! We need all of you entrepreneurs out there to continue to take chances, hire lots of people, work long hours and use your American ingenuity to help bring back our economy – it can be done, but not without you.

Biz Tip of The Day: Explore New Ideas - Stay Ahead of Your Competition

Explore New Ideas - Stay Ahead of Your Competition

If you want to succeed you should strike out on new paths, rather than travel the worn paths of accepted success

 Diversity
As your business keeps adding new ideas, practices and procedures, it is a good idea to analyze them on a regular schedule. This will help you to eliminate ineffective ideas and replace them with new ones.
Build lasting strategic alliances with one or more businesses in order to combine your efforts for a specific purpose. Choose businesses with which you can exchange referrals as long as they are not a major competitor.
Early on you should obtain legal protection for logos, words, names, product/program names, symbols, sounds, slogans or color schemes which distinguishes you and your company.
Patents are good but did you know Trademarks can be renewed forever, as long as they are being used in business? (http://inventors.about.com)
Invest in effective Internet research tools to gain know how and direction. Entrepreneurs need reliable apps and programs they can use as tools which are good resources for information and research data to help their businesses grow. This can help stay ahead of competitors who are trying to outperform you. After investing in these computer programs make sure you or one of your employees becomes proficient in using the software and can train the rest of your team to become literate users. There is no point paying for new programs if they are not utilized.

The entrepreneur always searches for change, responds to it, and exploits it as an opportunity: Peter Drucker
