Biz tip of the day: Writing is good therapy when you have a business problem to work through, or a new plan you are thinking of implementing. When done correctly it clarifies whatever it is that you are contemplating.
Make a list of all of the pros and cons of the situation. Write down all of your fears. Write the outcome you are hoping for, and how you can achieve your goals. List all the employees/partners/board members you need to involve, and what you expect from each in order to get the job done. Even if you should scrap the idea, or plan, at least your mind will be put at ease, knowing that you thoroughly examined it before scraping it. The therapy part is being worry-free at the end of the day.
This works just as well in your private life decisions, as well.

Biz Tip of The Day: Check out www.HearUsNow.org for online reviews for venders you are considering using. Should all the reviews be too glowing, move down the list. It is common practice for the reviewed company (on their own websites) to move the best reviews up to the first page, putting the most negative ones toward the end. In the same vein, be aware that anyone can pay a search engine such as Google to have their name, or company name come up first, or near the first on the first search page.
One company with extremely good reviews was recently fined $250,000 for paying people to write rave reviews. Lots of businesses get family and friends to write glowing reviews for them. You will learn more in time to learn to tell the difference between what is, and what isn't legitimate. Take time to check out the poster's reviews on other companies. It is a good clue that the poster may be a paid reviewer, if all posts are in the same verbiage.
