You must be very patient, very persistent. The world isn't going to shower gold coins on you just because you have a good idea. You're going to have to work like crazy to bring that idea to the attention of people. They're not going to buy it unless they know about it.”
– Herb Kelleher, fo-founder and former CEO of Southwest Airlines.

Biz Tip of The Day: Give it Your Best Shot

Biz tip of the day:

Give it your best shot:  I made a resolve then that I was going to amount to something if I could. And no hours, nor amount of labor, nor amount of money would deter me from giving the best that there was in me. And I have done that ever since, and I win by it. I know: Harland Sanders

Biz tip of the day: “Risk more than others think safe. Dream more than others think practical. Expect more than others think possible. Care more than others think wise.”

Biz Tip of The Day: Look for Your Best Abilities

Biz tip of the day: Look for your best abilities:

My first-grade teacher told me I was the dumbest student she ever had. She did me a favor. If she told me I was very smart, I wouldn’t have tried to improve: Ernest Gallo

I'll drink to That! Don't keep your best abilities a secret. They won't do anyone any good unless you share them.

Biz Tip of The Day: Capital isn't That Important in Business

Biz tip of the day: Harvey Firestone advised, “Capital isn't that important in business. Experience isn't that important. You can get both of these things. What is important is ideas.”

Biz Tip of The Day: It is a Lot Easier to Turn Prospects into Sales Leads Than into Customers

It is a lot easier to turn prospects into sales leads than into customers. Prospective clients have heard it all and don't easily fall for a lot of sales hype. Let me talk about five things to make it easier to turn your sales leads into customers:

1. It is a natural process whether it takes a day, weeks or months. You need to go through this process in order to close the sale. Be diligent in nurturing your leads.

2. Know your prospective clients. Keep in mind your objective to serve clients in their best interests. You have to know what their best interests are. Remember clients are always thinking WIIFM (What's in it for me).

3. Ask questions to allow you to get to know the clients desires. Then help guide them toward the right decision, but do not make the decision for them. Be personal, but not too personal or prying. Ask about family members they have mentioned to you by name. Make a deal agreeable to both you and the client.

4. Be patient. Eliminate your own fear of failure. Learn the psychology of closing the deal in “Buzz Your Business & Be The Best.” In the book you will find an entire chapter on “Closing the Sale.” It is available on www.Amazon.com. The right time to ask to close the deal is when you determine the client is ready to sign.

5. Concentrate on the positive. That is another chapter in “Buzz Your Business.” Focus on the aspects which make you and the client happy. You will hit snags and setbacks, but remain positive and persevering without being overbearing.

Closing the deal is one of the biggest challenges in business, but with awareness and practice it gets easier and easier for you. Learn to use the tools and plenty of patience for success.

Biz Tip of The Day: Ideas Kept Secret Never Help You or Anyone Else

Ideas kept secret never help you or anyone else. My work as marketing director for Author Success International (ASI) is to get those who are passionate about something to put it in the form of the written word to share with others. It could be life altering information, advice from experiences, or in the case of entrepreneurs it could be about a particular expertise, product, service or program to improve the lives of others.

ASI has made it easier and very cost-effective for people to get ideas out of their heads onto paper and published so their ideas can render a positive influence improving the lives of many others. In the process the author also opens up the opportunity to make money selling books, using the book as a marketing tool, plus getting speaking engagements, radio and TV interviews as an expert in his subject of expertise.

Authors are never sorry they wrote a book, but many are often sorry they did not write it sooner.
I invite you to start and finish your non-fiction book in just six short weeks. Please go to:

Biz Tip of the Day: Have a Productive Leadership Plan

Have a productive leadership plan:

Get your team focused. Have a daily and weekly routine to follow. Monday is vision day. Identify three positive things to be executed that week; everyday identify three positive outcomes for the day; Friday go over the prior week's results by asking what three things went well, what three things need improvement. Each week should improve when you keep the successful processes, improve upon others and drop the hopeless.

This is a great way of keeping in communication with your team, constantly clarifying problems and their goals, not to mention carrying forth a dynamite learning curve to benefit your business. Making them feel they are important to your operation is job security through success for everyone.
