Some people don't realize that the phone starts ringing after the correct number of digits (letters) is reached, and feeding in more after that does not interrupt the ringing. I had a concerned customer point out to me that the letters exceeded the number of digits required in a phone number. Anyway, it works out, and is a good thing.
